You need to learn more geography man... you forgot Western plank and TN. Plus the 8000 or so, well trained Tiger force. They are rumored to be there to invade Jaffna, but they could be deployed to take on SLA, if VP decides to do so. So, SLA is in a very vulnurable position and their risk growing by day!

Doubt is defeatism.
There is no doubt in the minds of right minded that a majority that make up more than 74% of the population, and with air power, Navy, army of some 200,000 will 'succeed' in the military operations.
Because the war inclined Sinhalese go a long way in convincing others that 200,000 strong Sinhalese army with unchallenged air power are to beat '4,000' LTTE 'boys and girls' it is the doubt that make them do so.
If it's obvious there is no explanation or proof needed. This doubt is the reason for the past debacles of the SL DF and even today high desertion and the whole govt machinery is devoted to convincing the rest about the 'success' make it doubtful and defeated.
This is because the war is based on enforcing the immoral injustice. If the govt table a reasonable and genuine proposal this war can be avoided and the lives and money lost can be utilised to build the country up. But, there is bankruptcy of wisdom and pragmatism more than the monetary are root causes of the problem. |

No need to plant bo trees. There are lots of ruins all over the area.
It's very difficult to destroy the history by an armed struggle mate. After all, no need to comment about the knowledge in history of a school drop-out.

There are lots of ruins all over the area.
The whole country especially the North and East are ruined and the buildings razed to the ground. These are the results of the superior air power of bankrupt political leaders and religious priests. |
