Troops on the Kilinochchi front * Govt. proposes no-war zone troops 2 km from Kilinochchi

The Government has proposed a ten square kilometre demilitarized zone (DMZ) covering the villages of Oddusuddan and Viswamadu where a large number of internally displaced persons from western Wanni have taken shelter.

Oddusuddan and Viswamadu are in Tiger guerrilla-dominated Mullaitivu district. Army Commander Sarath Fonseka told this to media personnel present at yesterday`s ceremony at Sri Maha Bodhi in Anuradhapura to bless the flags of all regiments of the Army.

The move, The Sunday Times learnt, follows the lack of adequate response to an earlier call by the Government to urge the IDPs to move to safer locations in Vavuniya.

The Government has accused Tiger guerrillas of preventing them from leaving. Lt. Gen. Fonseka also said troops were now two kilometres away from Kilinochchi.

The impose of the no war zone is just to show the tendency of civilized government responsibility to secure its citizens.

But the Tamil Noise would post a whole bunch of pictures and they will be linked to other Pro-LTTe websites to drag the world towards and to show that GOSL is merely attacking civilians. It is high time of so called citizens to decide their own fate. If they really need to live they must evacuate to the GOSL controlled areas for a little while. It is the LTTE who still keep the trapped civilians as a shield to protect LTTE and the drowning dream.

The civilians in those areas do know nothing the real cause and how its roots are being twisted by Tamil war mongers which appears in world arena called Diaspora.They must decide their future not by the diaspora which is pouring illegal money to cultivate barbaric culture specially in uneducated young community in uncleared areas.

Looks like they never get closer than this '2 km'?

After VP introduced new weapon KILI-I to the war theator, SLA momements have come to a complete stop!

They must decide their future not by the diaspora which is pouring illegal money to cultivate barbaric culture specially in uneducated young community in uncleared areas.

Who is responsible for this 'uneducated young community', kotiya? You know it very well... you benefitted from it... your university education is at the expense of these 'uneducated young community'...!
