I met someone who knows Mendis well when I was in SL and he told me that he has 9 varieties not 6. LOL At this rate he'll soon be a great spokesman for Baskin Robbins Ice Cream :) |

| Sure glad the likes of Tiggy and co are destined to live in countries like UK. They do not deserve a country like Sri Lanka. Our poor young are dying daily, while these keyboard tigers sit behind computers promoting war. A whole generation is perishing out there in the jungles and these keyboard champions cheer death, illnesses like as if they are watching a soccer match. One for you, two of us, two for you three for us. For heavens sake, they are our young be they from the north, south, west or the east. It is sickening to read some of the comments on this forum. Tamils, Sinhalese, Sri Lankan Muslims, Sri Lankan Burghers, Sri Lankan whatever, we all have only one country to call ours regardless of our Citizenship. |

This title is misleading people and tries to make them dumb.
There are different kinds of mental illnesses
Depression is generally a disease of the urban 'western' society.
People want to achieve when they cannot they become depressed.
People following the Buddhist path can not get depression. Because, they accept that good and bad as part of the life they have to spend, and they adjust life accordingly. |

Tintin,
Did you by any chance read the article I told about yesterday? The one in asian tribune? Yes sir, I did. There were some good ideas about the post-war effort to keep people employed and get them help if needed. I am not restricting just to SLDF - the youth of the other side will need these things also. I hope our Govt. folks are working on those. Is there anything ordinary folk can do, join to help?

In 2002, the Tamils began their long cherished dream of liberating their compatriots on the island of Sri Lanka, by invading the Empire of Lanka. The Empire of Andhra intervenes in the war on behalf of Lanka later that year, hoping to take advantage of the Tamil's distraction. In 2006, the Tamils grant Andhra small slices of border territory in exchange for giving the Tamils a free hand in Lanka
