When the politicians do not have answers to the grievances of general public they whip up communal differences. That is what leaders like DS, JRJ, G G Ponambalam, Chelvanayagam etc did. Now the TN leaders, Mahinda Rajapakse regime and LTTE carry forward same tradition. Do not forget what LTTE did to Jaffna Muslims and the poor sinhalese lived at border villages. All of them have no other alternative but war. All got blood on their hands.
While the leaders play political games to stay in power Poor masses of all ethnic groups suffer. Racial harmony is the Only answer to stop this war.

Mahawamsam...Let us be more realistic....Now Mahinda knows no matter even he captures wanni his life is in danger due to the LTTE threat...he knows till he is in power all the protection will be there for him but when he is not in power his life is in danger like janaka perera..so now he has started to think of his post Presidency era in sri lanka...may be he will try and get LTTE security to protect him from UNP and JVP thugs / killers .....jayawewa Mahinda good efforts to patch up with LTTE and VP
