Its hilarious how 'jayalalithaa's' speech has been interpreted by different quarters!!.. :O))
For the impressionable few.. the following points have obviously failed to make an impact:
was opposed to armed struggle by the militant groups
equality with their 'Sinhala brethren'.
her opposition to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) has not been diluted
Successive SL Governments from the JR government onwards understood the need to decentralise power.. The Eelam Lobby refer to it as Tamil Self Determination.. The Rest of the World call it devolution of authority.. different packaging.. same egg!!.. :O))
Internal self determination is nothing new, and has been accepted by all the communities on the Island as the way forward for the last 20 years!!.. The nature and quantity of devolution is what has been disputed!!.. :O)
But as the veteran South Indian Tamilian has said.. what she 'wishes' to see is federal!!.. NOT SEPERATE!!.. Big distinction!!.. :O))))
Next this tribalistic 'Tamil homeland' concept.. Well.. let the light shine forth!!.. :O)) ..Until 'ALL' the other communities in Sri Lanka can agree on what this is.. there will be 'NO' homeland concept that is to the detriment of 85% of the population!!.. Futhermore.. The northern Province has 'always' been accepted as a region of Sri Lankan Tamil habitation for a long, long time!!.. the Sinhala and Sri Lankan Muslim communities have never refuted that.. but the Eastern province is all together another matter!!.. The 'Chola Mindset' rabble can kiss annexing that area goodbye, cause its never going to happen.. again!!.. :O))
At the end of the day.. India or the World will NEVER accept the partition of this island unless it has the blessing of all the other communities on the Island!!.. and since we know what 85% of the population feel about the matter.. I guess it's a mute point to even suggest it!!.. :O)
This lady if anything is an extremely shrewd politician!!.. :O)) .. in other words, the LTTE can kiss their monopolising of the Sri Lankan Tamil issue good bye from now on!!..

Could someone give a rational reason why the UN now, and every other independent group invited previously (Bagwathi, Doctors without Borders, etc., etc.) ended up 'condemning' the SL Govt rather than faulting the LTTE? In every instance, after they had independently witnessed first-hand the ground situation they had come hard against the Govt. The only response Sri Lanka has is to turn around and label them as either terrorists or terrorist sympathisers. Is that all the SRi Lankan intellectuals are capable of?

Tamils are fighting in Sri lanka for 30 years. But they could not achieve ELAAM so far. Most of Tamils in other countries helping them for 30 years. But they helping for what ?
- To join their youngers to LTTE and finally to death
- To Vanish their education system whereas VP learing his children abroad
- Prohibit Sex like human need for its cadres where as VP and LEaders can do so
- No foods for them but VP and leaders are well with all facilities
Stop help LTTE. Stop help Terrorism! |

We have to meet the all Thamil Traders in Europe,Aussie,NZ,Canada and US to avice them to stop all importing items from ''Get lost Lanka''
they have to take these from India and other countries. we don't need any Elephant or Digree marrie or munchie items from ''Get Lost Lanka'' it's all available from India with a more standard than ''get lost lanka''
it will be start from UK wide then we have to spread up to the world wide. today i may speak about this matter with some activities and we go further ahead. |
