Tintin:

I thought Ms. Thivya said Sinhalayas were originally Tamils. How does that jive with your thoery Mr. Eelamaya?

This was many thousands of years ago story. But, since 1505, may be even before that, Sinhalese have become mixed with Arabs, Portugese, Malays, and of course Indians of various tribes. And recently, it seems Arab blod may be on the increase. Once should contrast this with Tamils in NE, who had largely been Tamils for centuries... of course some may have changed religion and adopted English names, but still largely remained as Tamil!

Machan EELamaya,

When I said 'I like you' I meant it and I dont write things I dont mean.

But first thing first. I for one like your comments. I disagree with most of them, but I still like them.

I disagree with your 100 years war. That is because it is not you who is fighting it but Tamils in SL who is fighting it.

But general information you are giving is invaluable. The idea is to give your view which helps us moda chingalayas to understand where Tamils are coming from.

I grew up with Tamils. I may be a modaya but I speak Tamil. But here is something you have to keep in mind in your future conversations

There is no such place called Tamil Ealam. But there is a place called Sri Lanka where Tamils live. In fact they live mostly in the South where Moda chingalayas live. They seem to be happy (otherwise theyu would have gone to North east of Sri Lanka)
