The full report from Tamilnet says though the following:
4. Self-Governance within United Sri Lanka: We understand and accept the demand of the Tamils that they shall create a Tamil Homeland where they have the power of self-governance, under the framework of a Sri Lankan Constitution.
The KEY word is UNITED Sri Lanka. Falls short of Ealam isn't it?
LOL, always good to read selectivelly particularly if it makes an otherwise unhappy soul marginally happy.
Jeyalalitha even says under the framework of a Sri Lankan Constitution. which our Thivya is keen to change. Hardly good news is it! Even some of us think SL constitution needs change. Jeya seems to think otherwise. Hardly a united view is it! LOL

Tell us Ms. Thivya, what is the 'proper' american immigration system? What 'proper' system (other than the Immigrant Visa Lottery) can nationals and residents of other countries use to emigrate to the USA?
She thinks just because she can go as a refugee that everybody should be like that. Too bad she doesn t have the luck to win the green card lottery.....

That is not the key word, the KEY word is SELF DETERMINATION. The LTTE also fighting for the self determination of Tamils. She said, she is supporting the SELF DETERMINATION of EELAM TAMILS :)))
