Show me a single Army commander who treated Tamils as equal citizen? I dont remember a single one!
Robins, from things I have heard about Gen. Kobbekaduwa, he well knew he cant WIN comprehensively without winning the hearts of the civil population in an area. I heard that He gave special attention to build the relationship between the Army and the locals under his command. anyway those times are gone now, I think the fire, metal and blood are doing the talking from both ends now, so much for the civils .. |
