I need the help of the mathematicians of lankanewspapers to solve a problem. Every day Sri Lankan military spokesman reporting the death of 20 to 50 LTTE carders. In most of those battles Sri Lankan soldiers are not usually killed. Some times the death of one or two soldiers reported my the military spokesman. But every at the end of every months Prim Minister used to appear in the Parliament and reporting the death of around 200 soldiers. Average number of injured soldiers usually exceeds 800 every months. I am unable to understand this mathematics. Can anyone help me.

We punish and imprison all the wrongdoers in this government

He..He.. like you did in 77, instant punishment, while police is on holidays.

I also wish you'd punish those who bombed the Anuradapura office and killed many of UNP supporters.

Minister escapes and no joy for LTTE.

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (CNN) -- A Sri Lankan government minister narrowly escaped injury Thursday when a suicide bomber in a car detonated explosives, police said.

File image of Maithripala Sirisena taken in May, 2007.

Two of the minister's bodyguards were hurt in the blast, which occurred in a southern suburb of the capital city, Colombo.

The minister, Maithripala Sirisena, heads the agriculture department. He is also the secretary of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, a partner in the ruling coalition.

Authorities blamed the attack on Tamil Tigers rebels.

It is not 62 but it is nearly 162 sinhalese soldiers were smashed within a few hours by LTTE It is very sad to read all these rubbish news daily.

but I why should we need all these killings on both sides in vain?

Why can't we try again to find a political solution?

Who is Mr.Brabhakaran or who is Mr.Mahinda are not interesting for the country but where nd when the peace can be achieved in Sri lanka is very important.

Sinhalese are wasting the energy of the country on LTTE leader for nothing .
