Promoting criminal culprits karuna and biggest sinhalese thugs like Mr. Mervyin de Silva are usual in Sri Lanka . Because you will find only an empty justice and nothing else.

so Amnesty International should have voiced long ago reacted when this criminal Karuna was released from the British jail.

A convicted criminal is promoted by sinhalese criminals to the parlement is usual and there is nothing to add.

In sri Lanka any thug or convicted criminal can become Minister or parlementary MP compared to some civilised African countries and latin American countries

Even in Idi Amin did not nominate any criminal to the parlementary seat but in sri Lanka it is simple and usual.

The whole parlementary MPs are coming very remote areas with little education and do not know any law or ingternational justice. Most of the MPs are thugs otherwise they vould not have taken such foolish decision to nominate or promote this war criminal.

what IS this coconut story?

Long story! To show how bad things are in SL -Tiggy said a coconut (or half a nut?) was SLR 150/- in Colombo.
Someone immediately published Keels supermarket on-line price list-which was 35/00 or so.

She made such dance for about 1/2 a day -insisting she's right.
We all had such fun!
The good ol'e days.
:)))

Made another few things like that 1 kg rice SLR 200/-or so.
5 M Tamils were expelled from SL under Sirima Shasthri pact.
Now today this-Peace keeping

Last month when in SL I checked coconut & rice prices.
25/- to 35/- , rice 60 to 80/- -still?
World food crisis seem to have had a positive impact there.
More getting grown there!

UN force need to be sent to save the lives of innocents regarless of the nationality of the peace keeping force..

We have our own SLDF to protect our citizens. UN is needed when there is no working government in a country to maintain the peace... last time I checked we had a functioning government. I think you are referring to the Pseudo State of Eelam where these is no working government, nor people....
