Mr. Ratnarajah -- ....Over 60 years of various failed peace talks and pacts Tamils have decided that only an independent Tamil State is the only way in which we can secure peace in that region. He reminded the audience that the Tamils in Sri Lanka voted overwhelmingly for an independent state in two separate democratically held elections in 1977 and 2004. He said that the current British Labour Government and the Foreign Minister Lord Malloch Brown do not understand the ethnic problem very well at all. Just by making the Tamil language as an official language will not solve the problem as suggested by the current Foreign Minister, he said.

Concluding, Mr. Ratnarajah said that he hoped that in government the Conservative Party, under the leadership of Mr. Cameron, will bring lasting peace to the Island of Sri Lanka. (http://www.tamilsforum.com/)

''He said that the current British Labour Government and the Foreign Minister Lord Malloch Brown do not understand the ethnic problem very well at all. Just by making the Tamil language as an official language will not solve the problem as suggested by the current Foreign Minister''

My Love child is in China Malli :))

Hikzzzz

Rapid industrialization in southern China has brought together two types of migrants: young women from towns and villages seeking work and upward mobility and affluent men from Hong Kong sojourning in the coastal provinces to supervise or service export-oriented industries. The result is that many married Hong Kong men who cross the border regularly on business have taken second wives or mistresses in China. We analyze this phenomenon using government statistics, selected court cases, and personal interviews. We show that the emergence of the second wife phenomenon among migrants in southern China is consistent with recent studies on the causes of polygyny, and we make some predictions about the likelihood of this type of polygyny among migrants
