there is a 50/50 chance. nothing is impossible. say if sldf really determined to capture those then they will ignore losses even it is huge(say 10000) and march over the deadbodies and ltte wont be able to stop with less man power. |

India might wait till the fall of poonakary , falling poonakary to the army means falling elephant pass. it seem the immediate intention of the gosl is to capture the areas between the A9 and A32 , A32 which runs along mannar to connect jaffna. connecting a land route to jaffna means the army in jaffna are quite safer in terms of supplies and in the case of evacuation compare to the situation prevailing now. (remembering two elephant pass debacles)
Why Wait ?
I can't understand the strategy,... It leaves several hundreds dead in both sides if India waits till the fall of Poonarin/ wherever you meant,....
If India needs more and more people killed, there are other means to do it,... but this is simply not a strategy,... If India intervenes, they couldv'e done much earlier,....
This is something like, I will rescue you from the rapist, but you have to let him undress you first,.... |
