SLA shelling blocks A9
TamilNet, Wedensday, 01 October 2008, 14:20 GMT
The Sri Lanka Army has been continually shelling the A9 road between Mu'rika'ndi and Kokkaavil during the recent days, shutting down the A9 road forcing the civilians to use alternative roads.
As the shelling disabled the traffic through A9 main road, the Tamileelam civil administration officials have specified alternative routes for civilian traffic, according to Tamileelam Police officials engaged in Traffic policing.

Will India turn a blind eye when Kilinochchi falls ?.
if there is a general election in India or not it is time for India to makes it's mind up. the genocidal war cannot continue in the name of killing the ltte.
India should pave the way for the UN to intervene directly if not India itself should force it's self in..
so for the Q,Will India turn a blind eye when Kilinochchi falls ?. no if India is funding and programming the war..
India might wait till the fall of poonakary , falling poonakary to the army means falling elephant pass. it seem the immediate intention of the gosl is to capture the areas between the A9 and A32 , A32 which runs along mannar to connect jaffna. connecting a land route to jaffna means the army in jaffna are quite safer in terms of supplies and in the case of evacuation compare to the situation prevailing now. (remembering two elephant pass debacles)
the innocent civilians will be pushed to take shelter in mullaitivu.
have to wait n see what happens once the fall of poonakary and elephant pass.
the tamils are trapped in jaffna and in vanni. any misstep by any party can cost the ...........

What kilinochchi ?
Open a map !
Oh that one...
It is in the sovereign state of Sri Lanka. India has nothing to worry. State of PEELAM is a virtual one.. India should worry about that moving to TN. |
