Dear Tiger Lady,

what are the main differences between Indians and Sri Lankans from you point of view.

Indian military could have finished LTTE long time ago if they would have wanted to.

Dear freedom1
what are the main differences between Indians and Sri Lankans from you point of view.
not much in terms of physical features/look or culturally.
Indian military could have finished LTTE long time ago if they would have wanted to.

yeah, i agree with it, they wanted a low intensified war between the Tamils and the Sinhalese , which allows them to interfere time to time,, they never thought the ltte will be complicated in the Rajive's case,,

now they say, they wanted a solution under one lanka,, Sinhalese interpret it as that the Indians are happy with the unitary form of govt and the Tamils interpret it as that the Indians are happy with the kind of con-federal set up.

it is the Indians who are prolonging the war along with the US.,, as for the Q , the Indians never came to solve the Tamil Q or to fight with the Tamils but for their own interests at that time,,lanka asked them to get out halfway through the course,so they happily got out of lanka instead of fighting with the ltte or the Tamils.

Darn..

I thought tigeress was born and raised in SL and has more connections to SL. So, she visited SL once. Are other keyboard tigers like that too? This is like hollywood rich fighting for global warming while consuming 100 times average resources and driving hummers. Or.. is it like fighting for animal rights wearing a mink coat?

tigeress, you have seen the outcome of the war, nothing else.

Your demand to chase non-tamil speaking people in uniform is like quebec canadian asking non-french speaking soldiers to leave quebec.

Do you know that prior to the war, we had many tamil police officers in the south?

Sri Lanka's devolution proposal gets slammed

Full devolution of power to the provincial councils is required to develop Sri Lanka.

It should not be a solution for the demands of the extremist forces.

These extremist forces(LTTE, JVP, JHU & TNA) should be militarily, ideologically and politically defeated.

We can never achieve peace by satisfying the extremist 1% leaders of LTTE, JVP, JHU & TNA.

These leaders are destroying the future of our younger generation, to achieve their selfish political ambitions.

Peace is of paramount importance to all other 99% Sri Lanka.

Dewey,

Any comment on Tigy's parents made to leave the country? Any comments on SKB's family made IDPs in the safe haven Colombo, when the LTTE was 50 member strong?

tigress19,

Mullathiv was a decent place before the war. Tamils wanted the war, and didn't you know that wars bring only famine and destruction? It was the Tamils who had invited an unknown war to their own door steps by arming and nurturing LTTE terrorists to carve a large piece of Sri Lanka only to them selves. Ironically, they not only failed to achieve their goal but also lost what ever they had.

Sad to hear that your family had to leave because of the war, but it is the same sad reality which you failed to understand along with rest of the Tamil Diaspora.

I don't think T19 wants anyone to be sad for her or all of us who have left the country because of this conflict. She as well as all Tamils want is to let the Tamils living in SL to live with dignity and have control of their own lives.
