There is no hope of any devolution as the APRC unashamedly endorsed MR's proposals as its own. The history teaches the naked truth that Sinhala Buddhism is not interested in treating minorities as Sri Lankans but second class citizens.
Bandaranayke S.J.V.Chelvanayagam Pact of 1957 was abrogated because of the UNP protests. Dudley Senanayake - S.J.V.Chelvanayagam Pact of 1965 was abrogated because of the SLFP protest. The Republican Constitution of 1972, robbed the minorities of even the scanty safeguards against discrimination provided under Section 29 of the Soulbury Constitution, introduced at independence in 1948. Indo-Lanka Accord of 1987 was abrogated by the National Singhalese protests.

Adam Gilchrist has decided to end his Test career while he has the world record for most dismissals
Adam Gilchrist, who revolutionised the role of the wicketkeeper-batsman, has retired from Tests barely 24 hours after taking the world record for dismissals. The shock news means Gilchrist will depart on a global high at the end of the fourth match against India on Monday and his last ODI appearances will come in the CB Series, which finishes in March.

That was Maheswaran's suicide Jacket. They have confirmed he committed suicide cos Police was closing on him. His jacket unfortunately only recovered now.
Report from the Special Investigating Committee appointed by the President. he wanted the report within 2 months. Well done our forces.
