It is governed by an international board of directors consisting of eminent scholars and practitioners and has offices in Colombo and Kandy. The ICES Colombo was directed by Dr. Neelan Thiruchelvam from 1982 until his assassination in 1999. It receives funding from a range of bilateral and multilateral donors and Foundations including CIDA, IDRC, NORAD and the Ford Foundation.
I don't think they have any job in Sri Lanka. GOSL should appoint some one suitable for Sri Lanka.

CIDA, IDRC, NORAD and the Ford Foundation would not bother to ask GoSL about anything. They know only too well what will happen if the GoSL appoints anyone. The fund will vanish into thin air. |

I was born in Tamil Eelam and I have been to Tamil Eelam. I will defend Tamil Eelam, don't tell me go and fight with the LTTE.
Each and every Jew in the world is the defender of the state of Israel, but not every Jew is fighting in the front line.
The strength of State of Israel is the unrelenting support of the Jewish Diaspora, similarly the strength of LTTE is the unrelenting support of Tamils and Tamil Diaspora.
Each and every Tamil is contributing in various ways to defend the Tamil Homeland. The Eelam Tamils knew that they were in for a long fight, when they took the arms to defend the Tamil homeland. We are determined to chase the Sinhala Nazis out of Tamil homeland, just wait and see.

SLA commander ? where was he to confirm this story? If he was at the site it will be acceptable but I do not think so. So how can he confirm anything? |
