What did LTTE do since 1976,killed only tamils ?
The LTTE is the Tamil people's answer to Sinhala atrocities against the Tamils. As long as the Sinhala atrocities continue, the LTTE will thrive and the Tamils will support it.
The LTTE is the Tamil people's defence mechanism they killed the Sinhala settlers, who encroached the Tamil home land and the Sinhala Nazis who trespassed the Tamils home land.
As per killing of the Tamil traitors is the time honored tradition of Tamils. It is the Tamil thing you won't understand.

Whatever to today we see, Karuna changed the political map of Sri Lanka, that others couldn't do for years.
Now he is becoming a negligible character, and may suffer from the killings he did when he was in power.
But, history will write Karuna as one of the main reasons of the downfall of LTTE.
So, LTTE must have its un-finished job,..as some Tamils write here.
Can UK protect him..? |

Lal Hemantha Mawalage, a Rupavahini news producer who made a protest speech at the Rupavahini Corporation on the day Minister Mervyn Silva entered the television station, had been attacked by a gang last night. -- DM
Sinhalayas are really morons! They tolerate politicians like Marvin Silva and tolerate injustice like this.
If they tolerate injustice to their own, what can we Tamils expect from them?

Internal rift in leading NGO
By Easwaran Rutnam
Controversy surrounds a rift that had arisen in a leading NGO enjoying a special status in Sri Lanka after the organisation?s Executive Director was allegedly ousted without valid reason and a police complaint lodged on Thursday regarding some missing files.
A Borella police officer said the complaint against the former Executive Director of the International Centre for Ethnic Studies (ICES) alleged that following her ouster a woman of Indian origin had entered the Borella premises and that she has some important files in her possession.
While the police said they had launched an investigation into the complaint, the Daily Mirror had learnt of moves to raid the woman?s house while ICES staff members were questioned by the police reportedly on instructions from ?higher ups? in the police.
Meanwhile it is also learnt that leading civil society groups were expected to sign a joint petition and a statement against the removal of the woman from her post and the subsequent police action. They allege the move, had the backing of vested interests and was arbitrary.
An ICES board member when contacted claimed the ICES staff were supportive of the former Executive Director and were now under pressure following her removal, which he alleged was done with the purpose of making a ?favoured? appointment in her place.
He claimed there was a campaign orchestrated against this woman who was being blamed for poor governance and financial losses in the organisation.
The ICES was established in 1982 and functions as an international centre of excellence located in the global south to conduct research and develop policies and mechanisms to address issues of ethnicity, pluralism and the prevention and management of conflict.
It is governed by an international board of directors consisting of eminent scholars and practitioners and has offices in Colombo and Kandy. The ICES Colombo was directed by Dr. Neelan Thiruchelvam from 1982 until his assassination in 1999. It receives funding from a range of bilateral and multilateral donors and Foundations including CIDA, IDRC, NORAD and the Ford Foundation.
