POOR Farmers are still waiting for the compensation!!

well.... partly right, and partly wrong!

those farmers are not so poor anymore, due to good rice prices!
actually, a lot of barren land in east and south have been recultivated after years of abandoning - you can see for yourself if you do a trip to those areas...

man..this is the real problem with our people..The funds were approved by the President to give compensation for the POOR farmers at the time when the gates were shut and no water..Without actually Punishing those rogues your justifying stealing ..

Actually it is..The Money that was approved by the President was never paid..80% went back to Hambabtota..
