Rape of an innocent girl/woman is a despicable crime which must be thoroughly investigated and the culprits given the severest punishment.
Sad to note, some comments here follow the same polarised opinions that one sees here when they should transcend their fixed opinions on the conflict. To all of them I pose this question:
Would you react the same way if the girl/woman raped happens to be your sister/daughter/cousin/mother/aunt or a close friend? |

Poor civillians from east, north, central, south and evry part of SL are suffering from every type of torture.....that is the truth..... this girl's story is just one of them.....nothing else.....
we are becoming a country getting into the deep hell day by day.... Eelamists and southern nationalists and all other politicians are responsible for this..... we can't help it....
only this 19 year old girl knows who has raped her...it will be mess if the raper/rapers were southerns (sinhales)... so, she will undergo a real brain wash, based on her unlucky experience...etc, and become a bra-bomber.... as a revenge...she won't think twice about it... |

In the court of law this is not a Rape but something that happened with her consent. If not she would have reported the matter immediately but it did not happened until some one, Doctors, questioned her. She had will fully excepted what happened.
As Sinhalese soldiers are engage in war these Tamil women find difficult with out sex, so they creep into Colombo.
