Dont get me wrong , but I think the tails should also learn to get they are given and not try to win what cannot be achieved.Afterall we also know how greedy the community can be for anything.They go like slaves to other countries in boats and hidden containers , but then manipulate and ask for more in other countries this is there habit.had you guys accpeted whatever and moved you guys would have got many bebefits unofficially , such as an educated society , fast developing north and east,maybe even the business would be dominated by the majority tamils, and nobody would mind as the whole country anyway benefits anyway, then maybe tamils could have asked for more and anyway got it. But foolishly went the wrong way by war killing there own highly respected leaders.Pls remember that just because you talk tamil and wear a national dress does not make you a patriot, that comes from loving your
motherland and working towards it. then maybe the other communities will start respecting you for who you are. examples can be sportsman , actors , or even highly educated
professors who are tamils but have proved that they can work for the country. |

?Things are worse in the law and order wing of the police. Some shops in Mambalam area are being pressurised to give Rs two lakh per day as bribe to the police station attached.?
No wonder the police inspector concluded that London tele calls are from LTTE and not from any military intelligence officers.
Even SL IGP who concluded first that it was LTTE that killed 3rd Tamil MP Maheswaran and sought evidence later to support his claim is not much worse. |

Yes ramy you are right...tamils should accept what they are given & live peacefully like they did b4 1983. All set for this iwth the help of sangaree, douglas & pillaiyan. Loks like karuna wagged his tail a bit, so he has been looked after in UK.
But the problem is this chap pirabaharan, what can we do with him, can rajapakshe acheive what JR, Prama, DB, Chandrika could not for the last 25 yrs. |

Thanks for the info.
I wonder why they spend so much to dredge it when they cant take big ships there. I will take that statement with a pinch of salt.
Also if the sea is dredged, the next tsunami will affect the west coast much more than the last one.

They took their entire period of regime to realise that LTTE couldn't be defeated. MR is learning for the last two years, as he is the least intelligent of all may not even realise the inevitable by the time he is voted out. MR wanted to terrorise Tamils and Muslims with SLA/SLN/SLAF and re-armed paramilitaries and that too is known to IC.
Whatever it is said about VP, he stopped Singala governments and thugs start anti-Tamil riots and send the Tamils in the ships to NE after 1983. |
