Given the success in those efforts - JVP inssurrections, the only thing left for us to do is to leave the Sinking Sinhala ship, we want no part of it.
Sri Lanka is only one leader away from prosperity.
By killing Premadasa LTTE dashed the best hope we had in the past twenty years. Also Premadasa was the most minority friendly leader we ever had.
So there you go.
LTTE is mainly responsible for the problems Sri Lanka face since 80s. They are part of the problem now.

This new item is biased.
The first country though now existed partially, to issue the travel advisory with strictest terms was omitted.
That was Tiger Eelam, its travel ban that affected most to the Sri Lankan people.
News item should be corrected as ?Six Countries issued travel ban?? in fairness to T-Eelam and the Sri Lankan people(Tamil) living there.

as many have tried and VP has always been the obstacle, because in my view he has never been sincere.
same thing,
those who ever approached him also didn't have the sincere intention or agenda.
VP is controlling the military unit more than the political side. There are well known Tamils whom still have major share of political folios, and financial supporting to wards him also felt the same of sincerity of souther politicians. ? |

But according to Faizer Musthapha the Dep.Minister of Tourism, bomb explosions have no impact on tourism!

Yes and they will not come if you do not offer them all kinds of discounts and additional facilities. They are not the big spenders and they will squeeze the hotel for all its is worth.
I do not see it as profitable nor is it in anyway helping to develop tourism.
How long can hotels withstand such losses........... |

When the majority see themselves as Sinhalese the Tamils and the others WILL see themselves as their race or by their religion.
If you consider yourself as Sir Lankans then the rest will see themselves as Sri Lankans too.
That is nationalism ........
