What could chandrika do when her proud army was crippled and brought on it's knees? :P But now that's all history and proud SLA is going to capture Vanni.. Yeah Right...!!

Cheese
Tigeress19,
It is never in India's best interest to have the SL Tamils acheive Eelam. may be but i do not believe in that,, their fears of eelam can be sorted out amicably if there is any,, RAW works on their own, but in some cases with the SL intel. true,,,they usually fuel the war,, |

LTTE was not their when tamils face the genocide...56, 58...1977. I know and you know these facts but your responsibility is white whashing the GOSL DETs. do it better...
LTTE was there in 1997.
All Sinhalese accept what politicians did in 56 is not correct. But that is how modern domocracy work. Any political party that come to power can change policies. But in the next election those policies can be changed. I think that happened.
Taking up arms is not the solution. It will bring more misery as shown by the JVP and the LTTE.

The LTTE will not waste the intel and planning to place a whimpy parcel bomb
It is impossible to come to any conclusion without proper investigation with waterproof results.
Last year we saw the attacks on Fonseka, Colombo, the airport, Anuradapura airbase.
Most of these recent assault look different to me. Execution of civilians and kids, parcel bomb etc.
Being provocative one could say that it is MR gaining most benefits out of these sickening assaults whilst VP would do serious damage to any political hopes.
Hiring some kilers in SL is fairly easy ...
Simply wish, there would be a real independent high qual police force to examine these cases with a professional attitude. SL does not need any armed assassins regardless from which camp.

A RETURN TO ?BLACK JULY? ? THE LTTE?S ONLY HOPE FOR SURVIVAL?
It comes as no surprise to most of us that the past few weeks have seen the deliberate targeting of civilians in the South of the island by the LTTE. Decades of conflict, and many failed and rejected attempts at peace negotiations by the so-called Liberation Tigers has made the majority of the population of Sri Lanka jaded and cynical that this conflict will ever end. And now the official end to the Cease Fire Agreement of 2002 has finally come. No surprises there, since January 16th only marks the end of the CFA on paper, but major hostilities had resumed from the time the LTTE began their ?One Last Final War? on July of 2006
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eelam_War_IV ? a war which they had prepared for and planned to execute from even before the ink of their signatures on the CFA had dried?
But things have gone spectacularly badly wrong for the LTTE, instead of Eelam materializing after this ?Final War? they pitched to their loyal braying Diaspora supporters abroad, they find themselves severely beaten, cornered, out numbered, and being squeezed from all directions. Even some of their Top Leadership have been given a ticket to the Express Elevator to Hell. So instead of winning they are now fighting for survival once again, and after their mask of civility slips, they return to what they know best:
