Church bombing incident is true..
that was on wrong intel and IMHO we shouldn't have aerial bombed a church in the first place...
but do take note of what SF has written
i think these kids were not child combatents...they just dont look like that...
he starts by saying 'i think this is a mistake'
I would love to hear from SF is he's around...
I will ask him the next time i see him around in his space :)

Revy, Did you read the following piece from DefenceLanka?
LTTE is believed to have trained enough youth from the Sinhala community to take the war to the south. Tasks set forth to them include, but are not limited to, carrying out assaults on specific military and economic targets. As such the tigers are believed to have taken the fight to the government using the Sinhala youth.

i think it is your source..
yeah maybe. one thing i can tell you is that he's much higher in rank than our SF and possible have much higher level access than SF too...
remember with all respect to SF, the man never confirmed the incident...he just says 'i think' not 'i know'
first one is an assumption where the latter is definite...
SF has been quite reliable with his info and i have high respect for the man... But the fact is that he has NOT confirmed what you're suggesting |

if you have the time read this too..it is again from SF
Guys let me tell you a story...
a few years back many tamims here would remeber aSLAF kfir bombed a church and many civilians died...
the pilot who conducted the raid was known to me...we have acquainted in oporatioan duty...
was one of the best guys we had and a daredevil pilot...was a forign trained fighter pilot and a decorated war hero...
after the incident he was emotionally traumatised...he had seen the devestation caused and also had seen some pictures taken in the aftermath...
it was only after the raid that he came to know that it was a civilian dwelling not a tiger camp as intelligence had told him...
his brifing was to that effect and he was not aware...
SLAF gave him leave so that he can sooth himself and come back to duty...
came back to duty he did with his letter of resignation...the force pleaded him to stay back but the man of his word was too down and traumatised to make a come back...
even today he is full of remorse and a man with a heavy heart...
morale of the story...
every human being should be prepared to answer when his time come to an end in this world...
so he should conduct in such a way that he has no remose at the end of the day...!
