what did they do in Anuradhapura???
the ground team accomplished one of the greatest raids in this new chapter of the ocnflict...your TAF planes just did a flyover and their bombs didn't hit any of the intended targets nor did they cause any damage to the base...
it was the ground team who got the job done...

Human rights chief faces wife-beating charge

Prominent human rights activist Jeevan Thiagarajah has been warned by a magistrate not to cause any harm to his wife after she lodged a complaint to the police that she was subjected to harassment and physical abuse.
Antoinette Therese Shyam Fernando in her complaint, filed under the Prevention of Domestic Violence Act, claimed that her husband spat on her, beat her and abused her in obscene language. She also alleged he had he also brought a dog into her room knowing well that she was an asthmatic patient and tortured her.
When the case was taken up last week, Additional Magistrate Sujeewa Nissanka warned Mr. Thiagarajah, who heads the Consortium of Humanitarian Agencies and the Human Rights Institute, to refrain from inflicting bodily harm or mental stress whether it be inside her room or outside and also ordered him not to take dogs into her room. The case will be taken up again on November 2.

| Ranil could attract the poor people. He could not explain to ordinary citzen that if the war breks out they have to beg in every road. Alternatively MR was able convince that he could eliminate LTTE by using the Magic wand and solve the national problem. That's all. |

The investigation into the killing of Kathir has not been completed. So are the killing of Riviraj, Ashroff, 17 french aid workers, and the lastest Mahesvaran. It is said that CBK planted the town hall bomb for her advantage. In a country where the leader carries out such act, how come you point finger in one direction all the time. Most recently, government gave a diplomatic passport to Karuna who had killed tens of thousands of sinhalase when he was in LTTe. What is the difference??
IF VP agrees to become a minister, MR would hug him and give him all the previlages of a minister.
Killings took place before CFA and after. Both GOSL and LTTE breached it. But it provided a safe ground to innoent people in the east, west, north and south. Now the innocent people are exposed. |
