Chami,
Tamil civilians are dying daily by SLAF bombing and shelling in the Vanni. At least six civilians are killed and many disappear daily in Jaffna.
Many times more tamil civilians have died at the hands of the SL govt forces and their paramilitary running dogs than sinhala civilians at the hands of the LTTE since the conflict restarted in Dec 2005.
Do any of you or your sinhala politicians, commentators or press talk about this. NO!
Are tamil civilian life less valuable than sinhala civilian life? Where are the human rights of tamils?

LTTE can be defeated military. But still terrorists attacks will continue till last member of LTTE killed.
We should not stop war against terrorism.

I went to Kandy Kachchery to obtain a Revenue Licence for my Motor Vehicle. I found most of the notices only in Sinhala. A person asked for a Car Revenue Licence form in Tamil. He was told no forms are available in Tamil.
This could be a lie.
There are no separate Forms in Tamils. But all forms are printed in all Three languages.

After US was chased from Vietnam politicians and service generals said they realised their mistakes and lwearnt the lesson.
Later US invaded Iraq and Afhanistan and killed the dictator Sadam Hussein for being responsible for the killing of 27 Iraqis.
After their invasion of Iraq 151,000 Iraqis were killed. Everyday civiolians are killed in Afghanistan.
Once you have power to rule others you do not want to share it with them. You have army and airforce to kill others. LTTE also kill people. Aca government can't you call moderaters and talk peace?
You bring your family members even from America to rule poor Sri Lankans. People are killed only in the South but also in the North and East.
Who bomb the North? Are the LTTE? No. They are Pakistani and Sri Lankan pilots. Why do they bomb? You will agree to kill and destroy. Why cannot you sit and talk like civilised people and not kill like animals? |

When the tsunami hit, food convoys blocked by LTTE not us. Not only that LTTE burn down the tents where people were at the time. Do you think government did that, that is what LTTE trying to do it and frame the government for it that is something government did not do. Who stole oil tanks that take oil to North? LTTE did. I understand LTTE doing things and put those off to government shoulders and prove the world that government is wrong. They have been doing that all the time but everytime they do it, they fail.
To the question that Have we treated everyone equal? We do. But LTTE do not. I think that is why you said no. LTTE abduct poor children and train child soldiers. Where is the human rights for those people? We have seen it. Cannot hide it.
Other problem is we did not ratify saying everyone must treated equal, we cannot ratify anything with terror. All treated equal but we cannot consider LTTE and make them equal, we destroy them first. So far equality exists among people but LTTE is trying take that equality away, but tamil people are not scared of what LTTE does. LTTE had already proven that it is a terror organization. That is ratified already for the past 30 years. |

Let's suppose to forget everything that LTTE had done until 2005 peace agreement. LTTE broke the peace agreement themselves. Now that is where the mistake is made. Now you are telling that tamil people have died more than sinhala people. Well, I bet more sinhala soldiers have died more than tamil people. When I say tamil people I am not talking about LTTE because we have a differnt name for LTTE 'TERRORISTS.' But this is where the problem is, people is people, whether tamil or sinhala. Think about it, if there was not LTTE, there would not be a war.
Let's as you accuse that tamil people died during the conflict when the conflict restarted. Okay, what was about cutting the hand of a tamil voter who votes the government? So if we have not given humans rights, why LTTE wants to cut off a hand of a voter who went to vote during the last election? LTTE could have done better job from their part protecting human rights? Also, LTTE said they only target political officials, now they target innorcent civilians? What about the human rights there? So you are trying to say that LTTE can control the human rights like a remote control who has it and who has not? |
