Pri,
The modayas who are urging Mahinda to militarily defeat the Tigers think that defeating the Tigers will bring peace and prosperity to Sri Lanka. That will never happen as long as the tamils are denied their rights to live as equal citizens.
If the Tigers are defeated the sinhala state is sure to forcibly impose a more stringent sinhala buddhist chauvinistic rule over every minority in the country. This will result in tamil and muslim militancy taking root again and continuing to destabilise the country.
Mahinda is trapped by the racist JVP and JHU who are strongly opposed to any degree of devolution of power and therefore the military defeat of the Tigers is very unlikely to bring peace to the country. He is in a no win situation now because whatever decision he makes he will lose the support of the sinhala chauvinists and his govt will fall. Mahinda is on a suicidal path and he may not live long enough to see the outcome of the war that he has unleashed on the tamils. |

It seems, MR govt want to bring the IPKF and the indo-lanka accord back to kick out all the western countries AIDed lanka in the past including japan ,,MR may refuse to pay the debt back to those countries who AIDed in the past ONCE the IPKF landed!! india will be happy and do what ever colombo wants as long as the govt allow the indian armed forces in lanka,,in that case TN will also keep quite,,
if not MR may be forced to form a military govt,,

LTTE only like military solution.
Kill soldiers and civilians, destroy the country and ask for for self government.
Feel respectable through violence.
that is the struggle for 30 years.

and what have you lot done?? supply arms and ammos directly to the ltte,,

The rathu sahodarayas and the crimson nazis will not allow India to get militarily involved in Sri Lanka again.
If the war gets to a stalemate and the IC withdraws support for the SL govt the military might take over or the UN might forcibly get involved.
India has become a pathetic bystander, totally impotent and not really able to do anything to aid a resolution of the ethnic conflict in Sri lanka. |

So, LTTE like to win militarily everything.
I am right. LTTE likes military solution and they accuse the legitimate govt for that.
LTTE been a banned organization carry weapons. GOSL, a legetimate govt, is not allowed to take stern action. |
