Yeah. It's kind of party problem. That's why there are well-established names such as ''Helping Hambantota'' and ''Mavilaaru''.

Let them fight it out.
There is no honor among thieves.

They believe less people more share. But MR messed it all up. Now they will be going for MR's head.

MR is sadly mistaken if he thinks he can talk to the Tamils like he dose with the Sinhalese morons.

Yeah, Thanks to this MEGA GOSL SL is now economically bankrupt. But not those MEGA Gosl members. They have earned a lot now as did by CBK.

Yes . what do you expect . It is the same bunch of crooks who play musical chairs every time any party comes to power. So what else is new?

Pera Sir,

At the age of 43, when he died, he had 5 ships!! If not by corruption and stealing (still being a MP of UNP), how could he make such money??

Can you show me one Political MP/Minister who can actually account for their WEALTH..why go so up in the ladder..How about Village Mayor's..if you go further down even a beach boy can't account for the Income..lolz

Good luck Sir

AANI's version of Thai pongal

By the way Thai Pongal is a Tamil harvest festival, not a Hindu festival as MR has said. He doesn't even know what he is talking about. This kind of superficial information gathering and decision making is typical of MR presidency

Thivyas's verion of Thaipongal

Thai pongal is not a Hindu festival, but it is the Tamil's thanks giving festival. It is uniquely Tamil festival. This guy doesn't even know that but the Sinhalayas call him as 'the President'. LOL :)

I think we can easily find what Pongal is just by a click of a mouse and AANI and Thivya need not to bother, As being Tamils they too have different versions. I do not know what pongal is.

As far as I know text of a message issued by the President is officially drafted and sent to the president for signature by the relevant ministry. I assume this would have been drafted by the Ministry of Hindu and Cultural Affairs. Prsident or anybody else in Sri Lanka is not expected to know every detail of all the cultural events in Sri Lanka. Presumably this message would have been drafed by a Tamil officer attached to the minstry and would have been sent with Sinhala and English translation as nobody at the president's office does this unless at exceptional circumstances. Do you Tamil guys know every detail of buddhist festivals?
