Back to square one! Cradle babies of Mullah Mahinda's alliance will never learn.

Soon, we will witness the rise of the United nation called United States of the Republican Illan-Kai.

YOu can not burn all the books we have.

We don't burn books, that's something your thugs excell at...

BTW seems you decided to spew some nonsense instead of answering Vincent's questions eh?

Let me post again for the hundreth time what equality and democracy mean:

Majority rule is a means for organizing government and deciding public issues it is not another road to oppression. Just as no self-appointed group has the right to oppress others, so no majority, even in a democracy, should take away the basic rights and freedoms of a minority group or individual.

Minorities -- whether as a result of ethnic background, religious belief, geographic location, income level, or simply as the losers in elections or political debate -- enjoy guaranteed basic human rights that no government, and no majority, elected or not, should remove.

Minorities need to trust that the government will protect their rights and self-identity. Once this is accomplished, such groups can participate in, and contribute to their country's democratic institutions.

Among the basic human rights that any democratic government must protect are freedom of speech and expression freedom of religion and belief due process and equal protection under the law and freedom to organize, speak out, dissent, and participate fully in the public life of their society.

Democracies understand that protecting the rights of minorities to uphold cultural identity, social practices, individual consciences, and religious activities is one of their primary tasks.

Acceptance of ethnic and cultural groups that seem strange if not alien to the majority can represent one of the greatest challenges that any democratic government can face. But democracies recognize that diversity can be an enormous asset. They treat these differences in identity, culture, and values as a challenge that can strengthen and enrich them, not as a threat.

There can be no single answer to how minority-group differences in views and values are resolved -- only the sure knowledge that only through the democratic process of tolerance, debate, and willingness to compromise can free societies reach agreements that embrace the twin pillars of majority rule and minority rights.

Anud, what you have written is news to me, I have never read this in any book.

I'll tell you what I read, the sinhala only act meant lots of tamils lost their jobs. As everyone spoke tamil in N and E, they wanted usage of the tamil language within this part of the country, not the South. They didn't ask for a seperate country not anything else. Tamils wanted use of their language to get on with ther daily thins, law etc Sinhalas didn t allow it, people who had not even gone to teh N and E- weird huh?

The sinhala only act was put into place to whip up much needed nationalism to a race of people who were insecure with themselves, their heritage their language. Also for politicans to get into power the same tactic that works now.

Are you're details in line with your information that Sri-Lanak is 96% Sinhala? LOL! I like you Anud you're a comical guy.

As for skining Sinhala's alive, I doubt you'd make good shoes, sinhalas are far too skinny with the lack of meat or milk!

This article writes what Asian Tribune wants.

The role of co-chairs ends with the abrogation of the CFA
JVP propaganda secretary, Wimal Weerawansa says that the role of the co-chairs has ended with the abrogation of the Cease Fire Agreement by the government.

He said this when we inquired him about the sudden visit of the Japanese special peace envoy, Mr. Yashushi Akashi

There's a small hitch....

You foreign birds just don't know our skies... and territory...

Proud Sri Lankan leaders already have very interesting surprises in store for anyone stupid enough to try (mis) adventures on proud SL soil.

Terrorists will be fought to the end... even if a peaceful solution is reached...

THAT FACT IS WELL-KNOWN TO THESE FOREIGN BIRDS... SO OUR VELU DOG IS DESTINED TO BE SENT TO PEELAM... WHETHER HE LIKES OR NOT...

Ancient Sri lanka did not become successful because of Foreign aids. Sri lanka built it's civilization not because of foreign aids.

At present, Sri Lanka cannot develop because of dependence on foreign countries.

GOSL should think of terminating dependence on foreign countries.

Vital aid to Sri Lanka could be denied: Japanese envoy
Japan's peace envoy opened talks in Sri Lanka on Sunday, hinting international donors may hold back much-needed foreign aid if the island's decades-long ethnic conflict escalates, officials said.

Yasushi Akashi, who arrived in Sri Lanka for three days of crucial talks on Sunday, met the Marxist JVP, the main left party, for an hour-long discussion, the party said in a statement.

I have written about this so many times.

Revy modaya, apply those golden rules to two countries that you are either living or used to frequently visit.

Oh... you can say that again... As if you are giving all these FREE????

We have heard these before... but wonder what message you have / what pressure you applied on to LTTE who used the much talked about CFA to bring in shiploads of arms, hide in 'authorized' enclaves...and kill thousands?

So, please....

The need of the Norway goons as PIECE NEGOTIATORS (not a spelling mistake!!), or the supporters of the deadly tiger butchers has been demanded with much force by the terrorists themselves!!
The murderers are losing ground to the SLDF.
At the same time butchers are still using claymore bombs and other lethal weapons to kill, kill & KILL!
And they want their paymasters, the Norwegians, to continue their 'tiger helping peace discussions' to get financial, material & propaganda help from the terror supporters!!
Everybody knows the valuable 'help & support' the Norwegians gave to the tigers to get in return a lion's share of the Nation owned oil fields.
These tiger murderers have not done any useful discussions with the GOSL!!
If the EU, US and many other civilized countries have banned this ltte terror outfit in their countries, there are VALID reasons for their decision...
The GOSL should not fall into the open trap of the wanni murderers to reverse its unilateral decision to break away from the ONE SIDED CFA!!
Some previous governments have fallen into such traps and the entire Nation is still paying for their 'foolish' confidence in tiger butchers!
