Perhaps Yasushi Akashi will take a strong message to Tamil Terrorists to say release civilians from captivity and fight GOSL militarily and die or Give up arms and surrender to rehabilitate into civilisation...lol...

The Mannar front unlike other ones in Manal aru and Muhamali have 57th and 58 th devisions which include the SF which were used in East. These 2 divisions among the Military is known as Ellite fighting division, that means the best out of available veerayas.
The Key here is to make damage to this division as much as possible and destroy thier morale and tire them, which is in progress... Once these 2 divisions are crippled, the other division's morale will be very low and it will be easy task for LTTE. LTTE is only using rugular cadres in Mannar front,when the time requires, it will deploy its ellite forces to over run them like previously in Jeyasikuru.
SLDF has been strictly ordered to capture the mannar coast line till Killali.
( this is the reason why these divisions are deployed here)
Which seems to be a daunting task for SLDF, things are not working good as they imagined.
Now they deceptivly say that their intention is not capture ground and only to make damage to LTTE cadres. If so it is true to SLDF too, they are getting killed and and become battle fatique in a long running battle fronts. This will only work in favour of LTTE, When the time is right, over run those 57/58 divisions.
The war is won.
If the so called Ellite supernatural SF can not easily make inroads to Vanni with all the
high fire power, it is a serious trouble for GOSL military planners.

that is the reason the government was able to kill more than 70,000 , damn , if not LTTE , they wont be any tamils left in the country , but sound like you were unaware of the secret burial taking place in Apura in fact the current government who paraded naked body in streets not in equipped to provide compensation to dead SLAs , so they are effectively using the escape router called - M.I.A , i feel sad for those poor southern lads .
One day soon the reality will be exposed and for some it will all be tears while the others joins celebrations.

once more of the Mannar and Eastern coastline is liberated, GOSL millitary supply lines to Jaffna will be paralysed. The 50,000 veerayas in peninsular would be stranded. Then liberation of Tamils would be much nearer. |
