That is what was tried in Canada for your information. Quebec referendum was only in Quebec, referendum question was only in relation to Quebec and not Canada and this too after giving Quebec through the constitution to follow a different legal system other than the rest of the country and have its QPP and not CPP.
I am not going in to the Act that defines Fench place in Quebec in relation to English.
Even after all this it gets more transfer payments than any other province and industries in Quebec get a priority in incentives.

That is not what Lord Buddha preached and followed. Even to people who did wrong to him he showed Maithriya. Only Buddha's ways will solve earthly issues.
In fact we are fighting only for the 70 or so little years we live. In the next life you can be a Sri Lankan Tamil.So then the whole picture will change ?

It is not me at the centre here.
I can apply that same logics to say, since 1400 AD we fight Tamils and are reborn again to fight tamils SIMPLY TO SAVE SRI LANKA AND TO SAVE THE SINHALA CIVILIZATION.

Hi my dear Sri Lankan friends.... when can the Sri lankan Muslims and Sinhaleese chased away from Jaffna resettle ?
It is true that in spite of LTTE terrorism... most Sri Lanlan Tamils live out side North with Sinhala and Muslim Sri Lankans peacefully. In fact my boss ( CEO ) is a Sri Lankan Tamil.There must be al least 100,000 Sri Lankan Tamils in the Western Province itself. This shows despite of LTTE terrorism most Sri Lankans do not associate tamils with them.
It is the Sri Lankan Tamil's responsibility to pursue LTTE to lay down arms and let the Sinhala and Muslim Sri Lankans also live and travel to North in a similar way....
Some of you spoke about the riots in 83... most Sri Lankans in the South saved tens of thousands of Sri Lankan Tamil by hiding them in their homes... and you, your parents and relatives could be some of them... if not the death toll would have be very high... we the Sri Lankans in the South risked our lives to save our Sri Lankan Tamils... in fact each house in our road had several Sri Lankan tamils for safe keeping... please appreciate those rather than talk about the misdeeds of a very few... less than 0.1%

You might have been born many times and protected Sinhala real estate and most probably robed some from the Tamils too. Thinking that you have protected the Sinhala Heritage or Culture is a joke.

even though I would prefer to see a negotiated settlement rather than war, LTTE shouldn't disarm until a permanent solution is present. LTTE disarming before a solution can have very bad consequences on the Tamil population. There has to be a solution that gurantees fairness and safety to Tamils. unless such a solution is imposed, i am sure most Tamils in Northeast will stick by LTTE.
regarding Muslims and Sinhalese from North, they should be ressetled that should certainly happen as they belong there. But also remember that there are many more Tamils evicted by GOSL armed forced from so many places that should go back, eg. Sampoor, Manal Aru (Weli Oya), Telipaalai, Gal Oya and so many other places. These people have to be ressettled
in my previous post, i did mention most Sinhalese are not anti-Tamil, in 1983 i am aware Sinhalese at their own risk saved many Tamil lives, but afterwards Sinhalese have not bothered while Tamils are getting killed. Is it because of LTTE that Sinhalese hate Tamils more?
