Apart from that i would be more than happy to see gosl doing more good things for suffering Tamils in Jaffna and anywhere else.
Jaffna tamils were OK until the CFA came and allowed LTTE to infiltrate as political - activists. They began all the violence.
then SLDFs began to eliminate them. Then NGO's came and screamed about Human rights for LTTE killers.
what elase GOSL can do ???
That would be my plain foreign suggestion for making militant LTTE more redundant and to isolate them.
Just gas them.

Hi Sri Lankan Tigress 19...
One House was rammed into two by the British.... remember... they manupulated all the minorities in the government service so that Sri Lankan Tamils had more people in the service.
This was their tactic every ware even in India... then the Sri Lankan Tamils after freedom unfortunately asked for 50-50 of positions for Sri Lankan tamils..... this was the start of the ethinic trouble... I am not saying there aren't issues... but asking for 50-50 was unrealistic....... this roused suspicion and of course Bandaranayake made it worse.... and Sri Lankan VP made it to the top of the terror list... wining the World Cup of terrorism... this year... according to FBI.
I do agree war is not the way.... CFA should have been in place.. but LTTE did not think so since 2002... now only they want to abide by it 100% when they are pressurized....and driven 40 feet underground.... in the cold... ( according to Adele's autobiography...)

hey, don't run away from realities. No one said, that Southern Sinhalese do love you, but i am truly convinced, that there is no hatred or bad feelings against Tamil Sri Lankans.
SL is blessed to have three ethnic groups who are able to live in harmony. |

I never believe this.
go to UK, USA, Canada,Australia, Japan, Italy, France. All those countries have ethnic groups. But, how many languages they have ??
In the UK, Scottish and Irish had their own languages and cultures until English took over everything. Even Wales, Main were different. |

Do not believe when racist Sinhalas say Tamils are Srilanka too.
If they really meant it, There won't be Standardization in Education, Sinahala only law, Forced colonization, Ethnic riots, even JR ( Former president) said publicly if i Starve Tamils, people in the South will be Happy.
What they mean by Sri lankan identity is Sinhala Buddhists only.
This is malice propaganda.

whoever is polluting SL with bombs and terror is a criminal bound for prosecution.
But please, don't tell me that your only recipe is bombs on LTTE bunkers.
