SLMM pulls out of Trinco
Friday, 11 January 2008 - 10:21 AM SL Time

The Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission in Trincomalee closed its office and handed over the building to the Divisional Secretary yesterday. The building originally belonged to the Sri Lanka Customs.

The SLMM loaded all equipment it owned into vehicles and was set to travel to Colombo last afternoon.

Trincomalee was the first office of the SLMM to be closed since the Government decided on January 2 to abrogate the Ceasefire Agreement entered into with the LTTE in February, 2002.

Good. Norweygians can go home now and take care of LTTE goons in Oslo. The Danish can take care of their LTTE refugees in Copenhagen.Danish authorities have radically changed their immigration policy since they allowed so many LTTE refugess to Denmark. Now the Danish government have realized what a mistake they did earlier. But it is too late now.

Yes, the Vikings went home to prepare a nice welcome for Velu's =early retirement= in Norway. Eric needs another fishing partner on the Lofoten Islands, far up there over the Polar Circle.

As if SLMM were the root cause of this ethnic problem. In case LTTE regain power and begins to terrorize the country again our pen heroes in this form will gently disappear into thin air.
