Ariyalai_SB,

The CFA created harmony among the ethnicity, and the Tamils were beginning to doubt the separate state doctrine

This is exactly the toffee given to Ranil by all these so called international community. Seems like you also have found it tasty.

Karuna break away is a result of military intelligences of SLA.

It is true that some people (who were in foreign countries) thought that the peace is forever and why going for a war. That is not what the plan of Pirabaharan. That is why he get ships of weapons, kill all the intelligent agents during the peace. They also earn billions of money by simply taxing the goods transported to Jaffna through A9.

If we kept the peace process as it were when Mr. Ranil is in power this is what could have happen.

LTTE is establishing more on all the aspects of society. They have their own law and order, probably would start eduction as well. This way they could have transformed the society so that it would be very hard to think about a unitary nation. Then the LTTE would use their weapons again for their final requirement - a separate nation, at which point we have no way to start again.

It is ok, to see things differently, but always understand the agenda or these international community.

Oh Ari...

Same old... blah... blah... blah... and sneak previews though the Elaam crystal-ball...

You didn't answer the my $1B question.
[Are the a5ses of LTTE on fire or not... as never before... ]

To me...it seems... we can do the job this time.

[THE FUTURE LOOKS EXTREMELY BRIGHT FOR SRI LANKA... BECAUSE... AS SOON AS THE LAST TERRORIST IS FRIED... THE PROSPERITY WOULD GET ITS WINGS.. AND UNSTOPPABLE ECONOMIC ACTIVITY WOULD TAKE PLACE]

All Sri Lankans' #1, paramount, cardinal, non-negotiable duty now is to [insist] from GOSL to wipe out terrorism... and [play the necessary roles] to facilitate it.

The ball now is not in Mahinda / GOSL/ SLDF court... it's in

[OUR COURT]

Bye!

Dewey,

This is what happens when short sighted politicians signed a CFA which includes a border and a defacto state. Now, it is not easy to drop that monster. Stupid RW is still crying after losing election after election. Once rejected by Srilankan public he is trying to hang on to foreign coattails.

Has it occurred to you that, one's inability comprehend the visions of others renders one labeling others shortsighted!

Have you tried to reconcile VP's actions and endeavour to find answers? VP signed CFA with RW and then ditched him and elected MR, why?

VP did not ditch Ranil it was people who ditch him. At that time, VP thought Mahinda will also follow Ranils footprints.

Now that he is wounded, lost top most people, under pressure and changing his hiding places frequently. Do you think these are also his vision too.

Vini,

I thought I will respond to you once because you seem to be rabidly muttering to yourself. Before you go totally insane let me say the following:

The LTTE gave up the East without a fight. Every sensible observer will agree that the SLDF walked into territory voluntarily vacated by the LTTE.All the LTTE leaders of the East are now in Vanni with almost all their men and material that were in the East before it was vacated.

The govt and their sinhala chauvinist supporters made this into a victory and feted the SLDF as if they actually liberated the East. This has made them believe their own propaganda and has given them courage to go on an adventure to try and capture the Vanni. For the past 11 months the SLDF have been trying to intrude into the Vanni without any appeciable gain. Their adventure is turning into a misadventure.

Unable to make any inroads into Tiger territory they are trying to explain their failure by saying what they are doing is a war of attrition wherby they are slowly sapping the Tigers of their manpower and military materials. In order to reinforce this fallacy they resorted to announcing inflated LTTE casualty figures on a daily basis. There is no independent verification of these figures. The Tigers wisely never commented on these claims and have let your forces fall dangerously into having a false sense of security.

Morale is something the SLDF never had and these announcements of pseudo battlefield advances and inflated LTTE death figures are solely to keep up SLDF morale and to justify to the suffering sinhala masses that they are winning the war agaisnt the Tigers.

The LTTE is well entrenched in the Vanni and it ain't going to give it up easily. Killings of Tamilchelvan or Col Charles or a few others ain't going to make the LTTE keel over. There are many myths about the LTTE and the govt's mythical story that the LTTE is weak is certainly not true.

Now the FA is unilaterally abrogated by the govt and without a devolution proposal on the table, the LTTE can justifiably say that war is the only option to find justice for the tamils of Sri Lanka.

Now sit down and enjoy watching 'your' country go down the pan.

2 main thing decides support from Southern to GOSL .

One is war victory against Tamils and the other is Paan price.

Both seems in trouble now.
