Hi Friends,
I want to know something, can you pursue VP to agree to a Federal Solution even now ? In fact he is one of us.. a Sri Lankan so we have to solve this amicably....

Do you think the International Community will involve / favour / support the Tamil cause if Velupilliei Pirapaharan is not the sole leader of Sri Lankan Tamils?

negotiated settelment is best
but
humanitarian issues should be addressed before peacetalks.
GoSL is not interested in peace talks.
It is making a lot of money for itself with this war. There is no way they want to talk. They are doing everything to make sure LTTE will not come to the table.

If you want to talk peace with anyone you first have to show you are honest and sincere. GoSL dose not want peace. They are only providing lip service.And everyone knows it.

yes, there are some Tamil GOSL supporters in Batti. but does this mean all Batticaloa people support GOSL? remember, quarter of LTTE dead cadres are from Batti. Also is there any gurantee all those Tamils supporting GOSL will remain in their support for them, especially if GOSL embarks in a colonisation scheme in the region
these are the things you have to think about, nothing is permanent, and Pillaiyan - GOSL honeymoon could be over soon, just like GOSL - Karuna honeymoon. |

IC doesnt care about Palestinians, and is lenient on Israeli aggression, settlements in West Bank. So what are chances of IC supporting Tamil cause whether VP is leader or not.

You are free to support anyone but do you want to support anyone who only have their own interest at heart? GoSL cares a rats a55 for Tamils. If you think the Sinhalese will help Tamils go ahead. It will only show that you have not learned anything after all this time. |

Hi I am quoting you above. But in the peace talks between 2002-2004 the gvernment was sincere and even the late Balasingham agreed to a Federal Solution. This could have been a sincere end , much to the delight of all of us Sri Lankans, if only VP did not vetoe the same from his Jungle hideout. So I have doubt about VPs sincerity.
So I think everyone knew MR is not for discussions, why did LTTE put them in power by stopping the Northern voters from exercising the votes ? Even the East voted overwhelmingly for Ranil. So I think if you are looking for sincerity then it is VP who installed an insincere person as the President of Sri Lanka.
Also I have Batti, Trinco and Jaffna Sri Lankan tamils working with me side by side here in Colombo. Infact my CEO is a Sri Lankan Jaffna tamil. So how come they are living peacefully with fellow Sri Lankan's here ? It might be the geographical location not anything else I guess.

MR has manged to bring Honorable peace to East.
North will be freed from LTTE clutches soon,No IC involvement necessary for Sri Lankan Internal matters.
Tamils have rejected LTTE to Representative them.Only Diaspora,
funding for a separate state without mentioning the cause
hooting for VP.
CFA would have,But days gone for any peaceful solution now,,/ it's time to face the reality.
LTTE is finished, at any given front they are getting cruised. |

Peelam and UNP supporters seems to be having a field day repeating same concept over and over again!!
Peelmists:
a. Velu is the sole leader of Tamils
b. Velu is leading Tamils to the victory
c. GOSL is loosing the battle.
Real situation is :
within three months, two snow white type funarals (coffins made of glass)...Velu nana is in the hide..East AND Jaffna under GOSL.... going to loose Madu too
UNPens:
a. Ranil is the sole leader of UNPens
b. Ranil is leading UNPens to the victory
b. Mahinda mama is loosing the battle
Real situation is :
Two third of elected UNP PMs sit with the government....Remaining few are under investigation for bribary and corruption...Openly bosted that they are going to defeat the Govt, but had to eat the hat....Took all the SLFP discards such as Mangala, Sripathy and CBK under their wing, but won nothing .... By taking SLFP discards, more and more real UNPens were made angry...
Final analysis is :
UNP is waiting for LTTE to win and pave way for the UNP victory
LTTE is waiting for UNP to win and pave way to LTTE victory
Both groups are supporting Hilary Lewinski, but Kakka Barak is winning the elections :)))
