hope he goes to hell!

I just hope he is singing like a canary about all the dealings with the GoSL, including how he abducted children for the so called democratic state.

it may also explain the hardening in Europe towards the terror state, I am sure they are having quite an eyeopener with what he is revealing to them :)

Latest UN report says LTTE recruited about 250 children (17 yrs and younger) last year in 2007. even though unnacceptable, it is a very big drop compared to pre Karuna split years, where about 1,500 children were recruited annually. Karuna and his goons responsible for most recruitment until he defected.

But according people like Gaja, recruiting children for the war is a necessary thing and it is justified.

child recruitment began in 1987, when many children were specifically targetted in massacres by JRJ's thugs in the Northeast and also many children's parents were killed by the army. because of this, LTTE wanted children to be able defend themselves. in many cases the children escaped home and volutarily went straight to join LTTE, then it was hard for LTTE to reject. But still, they should not send them to the front lines, make sure they are mature first

but Karuna people did the worst thing, they exploited the situation and forcefully drag children away from parents and against their will, and made them fight army straightaway.

'make sure they are mature first' ? They would be dead before they could mature. Children have to defend themselves against the SLA. Not only children women and the old as well.
SLA KILLS civilians without discrimination . The people have no choice.
Child soldiers in SL are volunteers and not forced.

But,
Why didn't LTTE leaders prevent him and return the children ? As we know if anyone goes against leader's orders, they will be punished,....
So I assume Karuna had the blessing of the leader to carry out the 'bad thing'

Small correction. Karuna forced children to join the SLA to fight the LTTE and the GOSL supported him.Now GoSL will have to pay the price when Karuna spills his guts.

But the children were not forced. They volunteered. To avenge the death of their parents and loved ones who were slaughtered by the SLA.

And you call the LTTR terrorist. It is the GoSL and the Sinhalese who are terrorist in the first place, LTTE is only reacting to the actions of the GoSL.
