80% of tamils living in the SOUTH
there are many Tamils in South, but i dont think it is 80% of total Sri Lankan Tamils (not including Tamils that came in 19th century)
1.2 million Tamils in North (Jaffna and Vanni)
0.6 million Tamils in East
about 0.3 million Tamils in Colombo
then about 0.2 million Tamils in other areas
0.5 million Tamils in Sinhalese majority areas out of about two and a quater million Tamils is not 80% of total Tamils

This very beating of war drums has been heard many times over.. The truth is LTTE can't fight like GoSL due to resource imbalance. So LTTE would always fight back and concede for years before turning it around right on its heads with one decisive operation..
What's worse today is that they aren't even conceding much as many expected in Wanni.. Obviously, this is not good news for SLA..
If we compare SLA and LTTE, SLA made reasonably quicker inroads into enemy territory in 1998 and the LTTE retreated quite often. At that time LTTErs were meant to be the weakest ever, but they turned everything upside down with just one decisive operation and brought SLA on their knees.
Today, we all know the LTTE is much stronger than what it was in 1998. But, SLA is just SLA with added weaponry.. So I wonder what makes people think that LTTE would be beaten like a bunch of chicken..!!

Best medicine to Tamil Terrorism is the abrogation of CFA.Daily clearance of FD bunker lines of Tamil Terrorists with assaults shows sizable number of Tamil Terrorists perishing prior to the abrogation.
Time has come to intensify Military assaults deeper into Tamil Terror Territory by Air,Land and Sea till all Tamil Terrorists are fumigated to extinction.
VP called his bluff and asked for it.VP is very unlikely to recover in time to wage another war on Sri Lanka.His days are just numbered unless he has secretly perished.
