Changing Shape of the Peelam and Celebrate the 10000th violation by annulling the CFA
Sunday, 6 January 2008 - 5:55 AM SL Time

There is no need to mention the number of Ceasefire violations committed by the LTTE during this period. And if the Ceasefire Agreement was meant to facilitate pursuing a peaceful resolution of the problem there is no need to have that Ceasefire for its own sake, if there is no attempt to pursue a peaceful solution to the problem by the LTTE.

Till now the LTTE has engaged in violence and the Security Forces had to counter those violence after engaged in pre-emptive attacks.

As pointed out by Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa the CFA has become a joke with the number of violations taking place. It has become a further joke with the existing of a Monitoring Mission only to count the number of violations committed by the parties and just to issue statement highlighting those violations.

According to Government the LTTE has violated the Ceasefire nearly 10,000 times during this period.

The map has not changed for the civilians, how it is presented by GOSL has changed. At least 80% of the portion removed are in the control of Pillian supported by SLA and STF.
Sinhalese might consider it liberated but I don't think any Tamil will consider it Liberated.
Even Sorry Lanka is to say these area's are liberated should be able to apply the law of a sovereign state. But is not possible nor does it take responsibility for the murders and abductions. As it is not even in control of its own militia and military.

So who are we kidding?

Even Nugegoda, Slave island and Kotahena were not liberated.

that is why people died there.

WE need more abductions, disappearances and white vans. Then the south will be cleared completely.

New reports say that there are 40 black tigers and trained LTTE cadres are in Colombo.

They are there not for PEACE.

They are there for violence. That is why we need silent treatment in order to get rid of those people.
