I am not that brave as tamil women.I think Doglas was scared to Bra -wearing tamil women,

Ven. Anudananda,

I am not sure if you ever heard about the brave tradition of Tamil women. The Sangam poetry of Purananooru clearly expresses the bravery of Tamil men and women who sacrificed their lives to defend the Tamil land.

In one of the 'PuranAnooru' poem, a Tamil mother hears news of her son's death and a man returning from the battlefield tells her that her son died with a wound in the back. In those days a wound occurs in the back, when you try to run away from the battlefield and such act was considered a big shame!

Upon hearing this news the alarmed Tamil mother runs toward the battlefield, where her son lies dead and on her way she says that she'll cut the same breasts she breastfed her son with, if her son really died with a wound in the back! But when she finally reached the battlefield, she saw her brave son's dead body with a wound in the front.

Another Tamil woman lost her father in the battle, then she loose her husband in the battle and relentlessly she send her son to the battle and he dies as well, but the brave woman describe herself as the cave where the brave tiger (her son) was born forgetting all sorrow.

The Eelam Tamil women are from that brave Tamil lineage, they will use anything to destroy the enemy and defend the Homeland.

Thivya:

Reading your cut and past, I understand that tamil women are more concenred about the country than the brining up their children.

To see blood and to spill blood are nothing for them.

WHY ???

Is violence in TAMIL - GENES ???

I understand the bravery side. I also think about their violence, blood thirsty side and the desire to self - annihilate ?

Can you tell me what you are talking about ?

bottom line is tamils are killers and terrorists

LTTE are tamils. LTTE are terrorists,

So that, Tamils are terrorists. Simple logic.

When Menake was 15, her grandparents died. Her uncle and aunt reluctantly took her in, making it known that she was a burden. Two years later, in 2000, faced with a shortage of fighters, the LTTE levied a human tax ? Tamil families were ordered to give a member, male or female, to the organization to be trained for combat. Menake?s relatives gave her up for the cause.

?They just said, ?She is yours,?? Menake tells me. ?I cried. I begged
the LTTE
not to take me. I told them I didn?t want to die so young. But a woman officer told me, ?Sorry, we can?t help you. Your relatives said you came here of your own volition.??

AT least 800,000 to 1 million are over seas. that is quite an achievement. We can not do that openly. But, Velu did it for us.
