Hi Poet, Yala is still under LTTE control?
Once you said no LTTE in Yala. Now you ask this question. We both know Geography of Yala than Ranawakka. LTTE carders have withdrawn to Yala from Baticaloa Amparai region in hundreds. GOSL mobilized 5000 SLA men with a Brigadier to yala to capture tigers. But so far no tiger was captured or killed by SLA in Yala.
Para dear, Even if you don't know the geography of Yala no problem. Simple arithmetic is enough to assume the situation in Yala.
Even Sinhalese intelligent believe that LTTE is bringing ship load of arms and ammunitions to Yala. Then imagine the possible tiger population in Yala?

Then the LTTE must have hired as idiot as the caption of their ships as the LTTE are in Vanni... Arms are needed there. You need arms in Yala if yoy are hunting wild animals:))

There are No tigers in Yala. Yala has ONLY Leopards (Panthera pardus). Madayans call them Tigers though :((

Yala is open for tourists. Tourists go there to see wild animals including LEOPARDS!! |

Poet you are referring to CF as if GOAL did not abide but as if LOTTE did.
I am not justifying one side regarding CF. But LOTTE was pushed to wall by the GOAL by refusing to fulfill any structural commitment to run the peace time administration even during the tsunami rehabilitation period. One side BK other side Ra nil have politically and militarily cornered them. Ra nil manipulated Karina while smiling with tigers in order to defeat them in the East. In this back round what you can expect from an armed liberation fighters?
Through out the Sinhalese history sharing power with brothers is hard than loosing the sovereignty of the country. LTTE is not good in history. If they know the history they would have work together with IPKF.
Do you want such development in future?
