This is a very foolish act by MR, just like President Premadasa sending away the Indian Army when they had tiger all under control. All for cheap Political gain to get JVP into the fold.
Sri Lanka have been foolish in abrogating the accord, this in the long term will be a winner for LTTE.
Very foolish.... |

Most of the Sri Lankans in this forum have a very filtered view so that any outsider going through this may think all Sri Lankans are racists regardless of the race.
Let us be more accommodating and kind to our brothers and sisters.

Anyway it's already a victory for LTTE.. They didnt broken the cfa, it was done by Mama's terror regime..:-)
Idiots like Kural actually believe this nonsense! The LTTE has never ever been for peace. The CFA was just a 'piece' (mind the pun!) of toilet paper, and everyone on this forum knows it. The LTTE uses CFAs as a means to re-arm and conscript more tamil children to man the front lines and commit suicide bombings. This action by the Govt was probably the only unpretensious thing anyone in Lanka has done in the past few years. About time we all faced the fact that there's a war going on in Lanka....not peace! The CFA was never broken...becos it was never truly there in the first place.
This is the list of assasinations by the LTTE after signing the CFA...now tell me about CFAs again you LTTE maggots:

The United States has suspended Defense Export Licenses for Sri Lanka. The US State Department Directorate of Defense Trade Controls said, in a statement posted on its website, that the decision was in line with the US Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Act, 2008 signed late last month.- Daily Mirror, today
Nails are coming down hard on GOSL. Plus a Democrat win in US election will kick the a55 of GOSL into submission... things look bleak for Sinhala chuvanists.

One thing is sure 1000?s of Tamil civilians are going to get slaughtered by the Govt. of Sri Lanka in the pretext of killing the tigers.
This situation today is nothing new. We've been there before. Nothing will happen to innocent tamils, except for distrust by the sinhalese which leads to more harrassment by searches etc. Indiscrimnate killings come from the LTTE. The tamil people of Lanka will continue to be terrorised by the LTTE. That's the FACT. |

Tamilcanuk,
looking back a few selected tamils have caused a lot of grief to the entire tamil population starting from kathir, karuna, dougy , sangaree.
you are a big time sicko....for you to make this statement, then you are condoning their killing by the LTTE. These were noble men who stood up against LTTE terrorism and lost their lives for it becos the LTTE brutes cant accept peaceful opposition. Therefore you are supporting terrorism full stop (or fool-stop!). Therefore you will be considered as a 'member' of the LTTE, not a mere hot-winded loud mouthed supporter blowing his horn. Then, as a 'member' you will have to face the consequences of the full force of the law which will track you down, hunt you and when you get nabbed....CAPUT! |

I think you do not know the facts.
If LTTE are harnessing Tamils they will not he around this long and getting stronger. It has the support of majority of Tamils. Ask any Tamil in the effected areas and you will get your answer.
