Genuine question (No mischief intended).
There is a talk going around to say that Varadarajah Perumal is to be brought back and made the Chief Minister of North. Apparently Devananda is not happy with that development.
Did you hear that from any of your sources?

I think this is not wise to do.
CFA is a useful tool to the government right now. It has no effect on the progress of military activities. Lifting will only give the Terrorists some propaganda points.

GOSL made its intentions clear now. CFA was limited to paper only. This will strengthen the MR govt by bringing JVP into its ranks. Ranil's hopes of toppling the govt shattered again.

SLMM will cease to exist.
dont forget , SLMM should receive a letter from GoSL or LTTE and the time for them to vacate from CFA is 14 days notice ,we have to wait a letter to be received by SLMM or Norway - the government might delay that . |
