My he rest in peace.
There was another attempt on his life. The bullet went through his forehead bu he survived. The time has to come.
If this is a punishment for his wrongdoings as some claim, it should apply to other wrongdoers as well. |

If you join the democratic mainstream you get killed.
Why should any LTTE'rs want to quit and join the democratic mainstream?
If you are going to be killed for being a Tamil might as well be armed and give upo a good fight when they come for you. |

I cannot understand what all this fuss is about. It seems these UNPers and Eelamists are becoming laughing stock day by day.
Maheshwaran is a member of a political party that was vehemently opposed by LTTE during the last presidential election. It is not me who believe this, but both UNPers and Eelamists. In essence, Maheshwaran had more than enough *qualifications* to be treated as a traitor by LTTE. Both UNPers and Eelamists should have no issues in accepting that for it is quite consistent with the remainder of their opinion (i.e. for LTTE, Maheshwaran is a member of a party they opposed during the elections and for UNP, he is a member of their own party that was betrayed by LTTE). However, for some funny reason, when Maheshwaran got killed, both UNPers and Eelamists blame government in unison for killing him (not necessarily about not providing him sufficient security).

What Pali expert utters is very right for some?????
So Maheswaran got 'Pujaacha Pujaniyaanam' from Pirabaharan according to him.
This expert will never accept the numerous 'Pujaacha Pujaniyaanam' offered by the Sinhala Buddhists whom he totally represents on thousands of innocent Tamil civilians.
Hope this forum will this expert a very good 'Pujaacha Pujaniyaanam' for his interpretations

Mucha,
I understand your point, but fascinating is that even though Maheswaran criticized the government, government never did in return. Because, Maheswaran supported Mahinda to send goods to Jaffna.
He defied LTTE on election issues, but helped them to bring air plane parts to Vanni.
There is no clear evidence that Maheswaran is Pro-LTTE, Pro-UNP or Pro-government. He was on his own.
Evidence present that he was clearly anti-EPDP immediately before his death. If EPDP killed him, its Tamil killing a Tamil. Divisions within, the divisions without we can't do. What British did to us we do to Tamils, cause we learn from British schools maybe.
