Yes Muslims will join if LTTE behaves itself with, as you say take collective decisions rather than just an indivudual.

LTTE also must strengthen its political component. It must be led by some impressive personality such as Mr Sampanthan. MP Hakeem may also join. LTTE is thinking of appointing a Muslim to replace Raviraj.

MR is over his honeymoon, very soon MR will lose his popularity with the public and the minorities can join hands in good faith for a better future. From a peaceful settlement of the dispute all the communities will benefit, not just Tamils and Muslims.

What a nasty country....Two years a go a Tamil MP was shot dead inside the church on Xmas eve. Today another one was gone when he was on pooja in the temple...

Sorry Lanka, death cant stay away from this country even on New year day.

what to do , a sinhala thuggery and demo-crazy country , can we expect we expect anything else ? no only murders , killings ,crimes against humanity and corruption - the starts of new year 2008 not good for the failed state .

Without LTTE it seems SL is not safe from the ugly hands of India..!

India to change Lanka policy if Tigers wither

-Hindustan Times

More and more reports emanating from Sri Lanka are suggesting that Vellupillai Prabhakaran, head of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), is injured and dying, or even dead.

If these are correct, India can step into the peace process in Sri Lanka directly, a senior Indian diplomat said. Without its founder leader, the LTTE cannot survive, the diplomat added. With the LTTE out of the way, India would have no problems stepping in directly to try and resolve the island nation?s ethnic crisis.
