What i find pathetic is you guys openly saying this assassination is a good thing. I, we decent people, cant accept this. |

A parellal with the killing of 10 Muslim workers. The Muslim villagers complained to MP Hakeem that it was the STF that killed the workers. A quote from one of the previous threads cast some light into this murder:
Inspector General Chandra Fernando's order comes in the wake of a request by the SLMC leader for an independent international commission of inquiry on the Pottuvil massacre for which the residents blame the STF.
Police sources confirm the IGP had ordered that Mr. Hakeem's STF security be withdrawn from today.
Before the decision to withdraw his security, the SLMC leader in a letter to President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday reiterated his demand for an international commission of inquiry.
Mr. Hakeem said that appointment of an independent international commission of inquiry to probe the Pottuvil massacre would help elevate the Government's stature internationally and restore good relations with Muslims.
?Our proposal was not made on the basis that there were no competence or expertise locally to investigate into the killings, but largely on the acceptability of the ruling, both locally and internationally, given the accusations made by people in the area,? Mr. Hakeem said.
He said his party was appalled by the manner Government Defence Spokesman Keheliya Rambukwella dismissed the party's proposal for an independent international commission.
Mr. Hakeem said that while people in the area suspected that individuals from or associated with the Special Task Force were responsible for the crime, his party's position was that it was too premature to arrive at such a conclusion.
The president must answer why he withdrew the security personnel given to this MP when he knew that threats were made on his life?
Why has he not resolved the other murders that took place in the HSZs?
Why is that paramilitaries are still armed after flushing LTTE out of SLA areas?

when there is bomb blast on in the capital or in bus, then all the LTTE supporters will justify that .we can remember what those people were saying when the Nugegoda bomb blast,
Need Impartial Investigation and LTTE didn't do that etc... :)
When the tables turn, the story is different. I am personally not happy with what happened.
Unless everybody respects each other this will continue,
LTTE will bounce back with some killings, so just be patient :)

The main Sri Lankan problem is you guys believe that every bombs is created by LTTE.
I do not believe the negegoda bomb was done by LTTE. But the one in EPDP office to kill Douglas YES.
The negegoda's one followed the EPDP bombing, thats was typically done to blame Tigers and brainwash the singhala masses, what seems to have success 100%..
Ltte stopped useless killings for a long time ago.
