What some guys here are saying is that 'becasue the victim (allegedly) made profits selling things in Jaffna, he deserves to be shot dead on the street'
This kind of reasoning only goes to show the bankrupcy of the minds that produces these thoughts. What is next reason for another Sri Lankan to be shot dead on the streets?
If GoSL can arrest citizens just becasue they are Tamils, why can not it arrest this guy and question Guantanamo style if needed - if he was dealing with the Tigers.
Only thing that nobody can deny is that MR and GoSL is not in control of anything. Some seem to believe MR is running the war well. No, simply he has unleashed it. - not even as smart as that - rather someone bit MRs hand that held the leash and let the war loose.

Alleged Tamil gunman arrested on killing of UNP parliamentarian Updated
An alleged Tamil gunman was arrested today morning (January 01) following the assassination of UNP Colombo district parliamentarian and his body guard, at the Kotahena Sivam Kovil, defence sources reveal.
The alleged gunman was wounded in return fire from a personal security officer of Mr. Maheswaran, Kotahena Police said. The suspect, identified as a resident at general area Gurunagar in Jaffna, is under close custody of Police and receiving treatment at the National hospital- Colombo, sources further added.
Meanwhile, expressing views to defence.lk a political analyst said, the immediate arrest of the gunman has dismantled attempts of opposition party and pro-LTTE agents to cast doubts on the killing of Mr. Maheswaran.

During Ranil's prime minietsrship, after the CFA, LTTE has 'eliminated' number of rival members.
EPDP is 'taking out' LTTE supporters. EPDP also take out their 'enemies'!
Given the chance, UNP will 'take out' JVP members and JVP inreturn will do the same to UNP!
These are tribal affairs!

It is sad thambi that you have been shot and it was shocking to hear the news as a Fellow Johnian!!
I am happy that i have spoken to you in person and you reminded me the good old days in school and you called me anna and told me all about carrying my cricket bags etc..
We all know your killers will never be caught and it is the life in SL at present specially in Politics.
I share your sorrow but they say this guy supplied aircraft materials and other items to LTTE ?
If thats true, I guess his death makes sense.. as the countdown started this morning

We all agree with the statement. Who is going to stop this guy killing the top Tamil leaders?
Mr. Manmohan Singh ?????? or IC?????
India and Mr MS actively involved in killing the Tamil politicians in Sri Lanka. This is not the work of MR who is only a weapon and will be eliminated by the same master at the correct time.
LTTE or JVP will take the blame for the killings. Easy, Is not it? with our modayas.
IC is dead slow in reacting to world problems. They will come up with an answer to separate the country, after a third of the population is perished.

On the other hand, Kerosene said to have a room renetd from a 5 star hotel (monthly basis) from which, a good marksman could take a direct aim to Temple Trees.
That room was frequented by number of dubious charactors and defence authorities arrested some people from that room time to time, only to be released after Kerosene makes a scene.
Who knows what defence authorities did next?? |

Pity your Appa doesn't know that the killer has been caught and he's a Tamil, probably from Appa's own Home Town in Jaffna
Better if you Pappa improves on his reading first, so that he can brainwash his little God's Gift to Earth with little more finesse....
