Alleged Tamil gunman arrested on killing of UNP parliamentarian
An alleged Tamil gunman was arrested today morning(January 01) following the assassination of UNP Colombo district parliamentarian and his body guard, at the Kotahena Sivam Kovil, defence sources reveal.
The alleged gunman was wounded in return fire from a personal security officer of Mr. Maheswaran, Kotahena Police said. The suspect, identified as a resident at general area Gurunagar in Jaffna, is under close custody of Police and receiving treatment at the National hospital- Colombo, sources further added.
More information will follow.

Who ever did it we very much condemn it.
Usual finger will point to MR but I dont think MR wants to doit at this critical moment. He is also sitting on the fire ball of mad mervin.
One should also note the timing of these killings, such as just before christmas day, january first, just before an important UN meeting etc...
Anyway the message is that this is the fate of those who appease tigers and work against this country

Yeap. Truth will be out soon, in the same manner like the truths who killed Josheph Pararajasingham, Nadaraja Raviraj, 5 A/L students in Trinco, 17 aid workers, Potuvil Muslims, Red cross workers etc were revealed by immediate and independent inquires...
