UNP`s dream to defeat the budget will not realise: Minister Nimal Siripala
Monday, 1 October 2007 - 6:05 AM SL Time

The Minister was addressing the SLFP Bala Mandala meeting at Uva Paranagama in Badulla. The government was able to adopt the five Finance Bills presented in parliament recently, although the UNP desired to defeat the Bills. The opposition accused that three Bills had not been properly approved. The government has decided to reintroduce these Bills in parliament. Government will be providing many relief measures to the people in the budget. As a result, the Health Minister said the UNP will not be able to defeat the budget. He added that the UNP is engaged in an effort to win the confidence of the people making baseless allegations against the government. Several parliamentarians of the Uva Province were present.

It is not the UNP that government defeated, they are beating the poor civilians by burdening with more more taxes.
Incidently gov had forgoten there are 20 million defenceless people outside parliament that they had defeated and now they are toasting.

UNP's dream to defeat the budget will not realize:

Not only defeat the budget but dreaming to have a UNP president.

Their leader to have his own child will never realize too.

ANURA,

President Mahinda has gone to Newyork to say that Your Mother was the first Female Head of state in the Democratic Free World.......Just be patient. He will come back respond to the Situation in Burma.......

If you supported Mahinda you could have become PM. But you worked against your own friend Mahinda......So you just have to wait in Visumpaya...........By the way Visumpaya is big enough for CBK and you so please keep your sister with you. State can't afford to give houses for each of you....

So this became a matter of a competetion between the damned government and UNP (as this stupid minister thinks)????

He should mind that it is not a race between political parties....it is 20 million people's life........UNP (sure they want to defeat the government in anyway) and JVP (the real two face traitors in s.lankan politics) were against those bills koz these bills will make our lives (as sri lankans) more desperate and miserable

Hope UNP (even without RW)wins the next election (with a huge majority)....cooperate with Tamil and Muslim politicians in order to reach to an end for this conflict we are suffering for decades.....the Hell with JVP and JHU (they want nothing except WAR to drag our island deep into Hell)
