When was it pr oven the LTTE was responsible?
Or it is just the Sinhala way of life, just say things which has no basis and make the public believe it is true.

LTTE was involved and so is the Gosl
As I have been telling all along, GoSL is little different from LTTE in many ways. and the GoSL should also be considered as a terrorist state. |

Why DO you want Specifically PAYPAL ?. what is the advantage ?
Because PayPal is the most widely used Internet Payment processor which is highly secured and highly regarded in the entire eCommerce arena, and they have the lowest fees when you compare with other payment processors like 2Co, worldpay etc etc
And further more the local IT/eCommerce experts cannot get direct Merchant accounts to process credits card payments as it will cost lot of money and need US based address and Bank account to get the approval. And also the IT and eCommerce industry mainly focus on the US market so 99% of the Americans prefer to pay via paypal, so if our boys wants to get the high demanded US market and get those hard earned $$$ to come into the SL economy it will be a major boost to our sorry economy with less foreign exchange.

There you go.! Is that all you can think of..? You need to get out the small BOX that your have trapped your self in and embrace the technology and connivance and move with the world. PayPal is a must have in order to do eCommerce business so the local experts can sit in their homes and provide their IT , eCommerce, Web designing, Graphic designing, content writing skills or basically any other skill that they can provide using the Internet and accept payment for their hard earned knowledge in $$$.

i have serious doubts in 'Colombo among top Tech outsourcing cities' for various reasons.
100% Agree i think SL is in a very low stage in compared to the other countries in the region even Maldives do better than us
SLT is not a stable provider with loads of downtimes, inconsistent speed and a lousy customer service.
SLT ? hahaha you never know some BIG merchant ship comes and drop the anchor on a SLT under water submarine cable line and drag the whole thing with it, lolzzzzzzz and the whole SL is in total internet black out, i think this had happened few times lolzzzzzz SLT lads are funny bunch of people aren't they? and they kept filling up with ADSL users without expanding the Bandwidth resources more like the SL Electricity board filling up the National grid with more and more users without really increasing the electricity generation. And so the whole thing becomes unstable, and the IT idiots at SLT hardly understand this simple logic.
When i was down in SL last year, I had to contact SLT customer suport regarding an internet connection issue and the SLT support guy was like 'Oh what's that..? Wait ill ask from the engineer, (lolzzz) and even he was unable to solve my problem' So there you go , that's the real sorry situation in SL IT industry.
YOu really cannot expect much from the local universities as their closed most of the time and all the students are killing each other and get them selves involved in unrelated activities without focusing on their studies hmmmm so when these mutts goes out and start working in the real field, they will be in total black out lolzzzz
Overall i really don't think SL is the the right place when it comes to IT and ecommerce, we're wayyyyyyyyyyy behind and we need to improve in so many areas.

India is developing at an exponential rate, with massive development projects. The salaries in India for almost every profession has increased to such high levels (almost 10 fold in some cases) that most of those who left the country for employment outside are returning to India. Some Indian companies have started recruiting the Indians from mid-east and even from the west back to India.
The rate at which India is prospering, very soon the GOSL will be sending SINHALESE WOMEN as House maids to India. I am sure India will pay a higher salary than the middle-east or Singapore for the Sri Lankan house maids. Very soon the recruiting agents will be replacing mid-east and Singapore with India.
