Like India, where IT is mainly in the Southern states like Tamil Nadu, if there were peace in SL the North would be flourishing under the IT boom.
What a great statement..not only that..if they give a separate state North will look like Singapore and south will be going down further..The corruption will continue to kill the south..That is the biggest worry for the Gosl..and that is the very reason they want to destroy North

Join SL IT? You joking right? Sorry to disappoint you, but my skill-set supersedes that which is taught/practiced in SL.

YOu talk Hypothetical situations. what happened to all the tamils that had FREE education for the last 50 or 60 years. they left Sri Lanka why they can not come and develop NORTH and EAST.
YOu people had NORTH for your self. why you did not develop it.
Later, you were not happy when you had NOrth all for you and wanted 50% of everything for just 3.2% of the population and began to kill. that is the problem. why you are lieing without saying the facts.

| Do you guys know that if SL does not have ethnic problem and corrupted politicians, it would be like Singapore or even better. This is the price we pay for being smart in many ways and so stupid in some ways. If not for our leaders that includes the colonists, India will be behind SL in every aspect. |

SL govt should approve US based online Payment processor 'PAY PAL' to include Sri Lanka to accept payments via online, This is one of the main barriers for SL IT and Tech people to offer services via online and get their payments. In India there are lot of Individuals and web based companies who provide tech and IT and eCommerce out sourcing jobs and get lot of foreign exchange into their country, I was amazed to know that even Maldives accept pay pal while SL is not.
If someone can Forward this msg to the relevant authorities and explain them how important it is to get PayPal to process online payment on behalf of SL IT and eCommerce community that would be a BIG favor any one can do to this country.
