Six Tamil Tigers were killed when they tried to storm a military-held area in northern Sri Lanka, taking the total death toll of rebels to over 100 during this month, the defence ministry said today.

Sri Lankan army has killed six LTTE militants when they tried to storm a military-held area at Kalllikulam in Mannar,
